Lawrence N. Taylor
Lawrence N. Taylor founded Christina Development Corporation in 1977. The Company has since become a nationally recognized real estate investment and management company. He is well known for his contrarian approach to real estate investment, having correctly timed and capitalized upon the real estate cycles in West Los Angeles.
His investors have included numerous high net worth individuals and investment banking partners Warburg Pincus/Racebrook, Paine Webber/UBS, and Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette/Credit Suisse among others. He is credited with the earliest efforts to revitalize Westwood Village, the introduction of high rise residential development in North Century City, development of the Montana Avenue Shopping District in Santa Monica, and the revitalization of the South Beverly Hills retail shopping district.
He began his professional career as an accountant with Kenneth Leventhal and Company in Century City.
Mr. Taylor majored in accounting and business administration and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 1975.
David A. Whitehead
Mr. Whitehead joined the Company in 1988. He became the director of property operations in 1993. He was named Executive Vice President in 1995.
Mr. Whitehead is a seasoned project manager and operator, with over 20 years of multi-family, urban-street retail, shopping center and office property experience. He is responsible for all property operations.
Mr. Whitehead earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon in 1987.
Bryan Mashian, Esq.
Mr. Mashian has been the Company’s corporate lawyer since 1995.
From 1986 – 2006 Mr. Mashian was a partner at Los Angeles based law firm Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger where he chaired the firm’s real estate practice group.
He graduated from UCLA, Cum Laude, in 1981, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science. He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law and is a member of the California Bar Association.
Daniel G. Katayama, CPA
Mr. Katayama is an income tax planning and compliance advisor with a 26 year career emphasis in real estate. Mr. Katayama has provided tax and accounting services to the Company for the past 20 years.
Mr. Katayama has been a Certified Public accountant since 1999. He has worked for Parks Palmer Turner & Yeminjian, Klaiman Sedgwick Bush & CO, Creative Artists Agency, Dreyer Edmonds & Assoc., and American Express Tax and Business Services.
Mr. Katayama earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1982.
Donny Killian IV
Mr. Killian joined Christina in 2012, as its Chief Business Development Officer.
Prior to joining Christina, Mr. Killian was the United States Country Manager for Movember, a men’s health organization focused on raising awareness and funds for cancers affecting men. He was responsible for the organization’s day-to-day operations as well as the oversight and implementation of the United States campaign. Prior to joining Movember, Mr. Killian was a Client Service Executive at Western Asset Management, one of the world’s leading fixed income managers. He was a key player in the execution of the Legg Mason (Western Asset)/Citigroup integration in 2006, while focusing on retail distribution with roughly $250B under management.
Mr. Killian is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
