Christina is a vertically integrated real estate advisor and manager founded in 1977 and headquartered in Malibu, California. For more than 40 years, Christina has sponsored direct real estate investments in the Westside region of Los Angeles (Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Century City, Malibu, Santa Monica, Westwood, West Hollywood, and Venice/Silicon Beach), executing a proprietary and proven strategy focused on long-term wealth preservation and capital appreciation.

Lawrence N. Taylor

Founder

Lawrence N. Taylor is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Christina. Mr. Taylor is responsible for vision, strategy and leadership. Mr. Taylor is a seasoned investor with over 40 years of real estate experience in the Westside region of Los Angeles. Mr. Taylor’s notable projects include the introduction of high-rise residential development in Century City, the development of the Montana Avenue Shopping District in Santa Monica, and the revitalization of South Beverly Hills and Westwood Village. Mr. Taylor started his career with Ernst & Young (formerly Kenneth Leventhal & Company). Mr. Taylor received his BS from the University of Southern California in 1975.  Mr. Taylor is also a member of the Institute for Real Estate Operating Companies.  

Vincent R. Chan

Chief Financial Officer

Vincent R. Chan is the Chief Financial Officer of Christina. Mr. Chan is responsible for establishing financial & operational policies and procedures, and working closely with the executive management team to execute strategies and business plans. Prior to joining Christina in 2015, Mr. Chan held senior financial positions at various publicly traded and privately held real estate investment vehicles including American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH), Public Storage Canadian Properties (TSX: PUB), PS Business Parks, Inc. (NYSE: PSB) and American Commercial Equities, LLC.  Mr. Chan started his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young. Mr. Chan received his BS from the California State University of Northridge in 1994.

Shaun Limbers

Managing Director

Shaun Limbers is a Managing Director of Christina, where he is responsible for managing capital markets and institutional relationships. Mr. Limbers started his career with Christina in 2003 and specializes in the areas of capital formation, strategic joint ventures, and asset management (including serving as a lead for one of the West Coast’s largest real estate investment projects). In addition to his full time role with Christina, Mr. Limbers also owns a boutique advisory and investment firm specializing in private equity. Prior to working full time in the alternative investments space, Mr. Limbers worked as a special assistant to a United States Senator who served on both the Senate Finance and Intelligence Committees. Mr. Limbers received his BS from Pepperdine University in 2001 and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame in 2012. Mr. Limbers holds a Series 7 and Series 63 license.

Larry M. Kruger

Managing Director

Larry M. Kruger is a Managing Director of Christina. Mr. Kruger is responsible for the daily operations of the development efforts at Christina and as one of the senior managers, providing leadership, input for the strategic positioning and future growth initiatives.

Mr. Kruger brings decades of experience in all areas of real estate development as evidenced by his extensive career. He has been actively involved as President of Micropolitan with infill Class A development properties in Los Angeles for the past 8 years and has developed over 2,000 units of multi-family housing and over 10,000 attached and detached residences throughout the United States in Senior Management roles.

Larry has been characterized by a nimble and creative mindset along with the ability to cross-pollinate ideas, experience, and relationships with excellent communication, team leadership and corporate disciplines. Mr. Kruger’s success has been demonstrated by applying the best practices for measuring and managing results in projects with the intent of being on time and on budget.

Mr. Kruger received his B.B.A. in Urban Development and Commercial Real Estate from the University of Georgia in 1975 and spent a year abroad at Nyenrode in Breukelen, Holland in 1974 studying International Trade & Economics. He has been actively involved in the Building Industry serving on several boards, recognized as Builder of the Year on a local level and Marketing Executive of the Year on a National, Regional and Local level as well as being a past Chair of the Educational Programs for the Pacific Coast Builders Conference.

David A. Whitehead

Director of Property Operations

David A. Whitehead is the Director of Property Operations for Christina. Mr. Whitehead is responsible for overseeing daily operations and maximizing the performance and value of the real estate assets. Mr. Whitehead is a seasoned project manager, asset manager and operator with over 30 years of real estate experience in the Westside region of Los Angeles.  Mr. Whitehead started his career with Christina in 1988. Mr. Whitehead received his BS from the University of Oregon in 1987.

Jim Reynard

Director of Construction

Jim Reynard is the Director of Construction for Christina. Mr. Reynard is responsible for all construction related pre-development and development activities. He works directly with the Design Consultants, General Contractor, Field Operations and Municipal agencies to ensure costing and all owner commitments are being fulfilled.

With over 30 years of experience building over 3,000 units, Mr. Reynard brings to the table a wide-ranging professional career in construction and development – from multi-family podium and mixed use commercial product to large master planned residential communities, he has consistently delivered projects on schedule and within budget.

His previous tenure at Western National Group, serving such clients as Irvine Company, Lewis Operating Corp., along with his leadership at Centex Homes and Micropolitan, brings a unique understanding of both sides of the general contractor and owner equation, as well as, a 360 degree view of our projects.

Daniel G. Katayama

CPA

Mr. Katayama is Christina’s outside Certified Public Accountant. He has provided income tax planning and compliance advisory services to Christina and its affiliates since 2001. Mr. Katayama has a 36-year career in real estate taxation and has worked for Parks, Palmer, Turner & Yeminijian, Klaiman, Sedgwick, Bush & Company, Creative Artists Agency, Dreyer, Edmonds & Associates, and American Express Tax and Business Services. Mr. Katayama received his BS from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1982.

Bryan Mashian

General Counsel

Mr. Mashian is Christina’s outside General Counsel and has provided legal services to Christina and its affiliates since 1996. Mr. Mashian practiced law for nearly 20 years with Buchalter Nemer, one of the largest Los Angeles based law firms, where he was the Managing Partner of the real estate group. Mr. Mashian received his BA in 1981 and his JD in 1984 from the University of California, Los Angeles.
